A former mountain guide, ski instructor, NOLS leader and avid mountain biker, Erica developed serious back, shoulder and knee problems several years ago but found that the Pilates and therapeutic exercise programs taught by Frankie at Barefoot were ideal for rehabbing her body in an integrated way. Erica has been a teacher for 20 years in everything from skiing, to wilderness expeditions, to EMT courses, and even cooking lessons which made her transition to Pilates instruction a natural fit. She was hand-picked to go through Frankie's premier Teacher Training Apprentice Program and is now certified to teach Pilates classes at the studio.
Molded by an athletic background as a competitive gymnast and springboard diver in New England, Leslie’s immersion into the health and fitness arena began at a young age. Leslie earned a B.A. from Smith College, after which she studied massage at the Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage Therapy in Austin, TX.

Molded by an athletic background as a competitive gymnast and springboard diver in New England, Leslie’s immersion into the health and fitness arena began at a young age. Leslie earned a B.A. from Smith College, after which she studied massage at the Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage Therapy in Austin, TX.
As a member the American Massage Therapy Association Leslie has been practicing therapeutic massage since 1991. She specializes in an integrative style of Deep Tissue Bodywork. Leslie has studied modalities such as Zero Balancing, Trigger Point, Sports Massage, Swedish Massage, Pregnancy Massage and Aaron Mattes Stretching Technique so that she can work with a diverse group of clients.
Leslie encourages you to “make yourself a priority” and suggests incorporating regular massages into your lifestyle as a maintenance technique for overall balance and good health.
She is available for 60 or 90 minute massages on weekdays at Barefoot Studio in Driggs.
